A developer once told me that each extra week to polish a game pre-launch was worth 4 weeks afterwards patching.
If it's not ready it's not ready and being honest about that improves the likelihood of a quality launch.
I'm not really seeing this as bad news, I'll just be doing something else. 🙂
That's sad to hear but as long as the game releases with less issues then, i'm all in. 🙌

Be interesting to know if it's polish and finishing touches that are needed or something major. Balancing pc and console cross play can't be easy, with trying to optimize for both. Or have sone of the mechanics and design decisions gone down like a lead balloon or didnt work in the closed alpha.

We all can agree that more time is better for the game. More issues/bugs can be fixed so we can have smooth launch and we can play without any serious issues. 🙂

Ok I can live with only a month delay.
Apparently the reason for the delay is because of their COVID restrictions.
I knew it.

Was expecting a delay so not too fussed. Reason for it feels dubious to me though.

THey need the time...ok. at least they said so now ..not Oct 20th.
. I am 1300 feet from cable, but have to use 4G and 120GB download/mth...so until Starlink gets here I am not sure if can play anyways...so come on STARLINK! by Nov ...maybe? no..not yet..20 more launches of sats..then 100mb / 40mb. speeds hopefully.
