Does anyone have an official source whether or not there will be a demo version of Battlefield 2042? Preordering and 'playing the beta' is not exactly what I'm looking for. Even though I can refund ...

@infantrypeasant I guess the closest thing there's been to a 'demo' would probably have been that closed playtest (it wasn't an actual demo though of course). Other than that it would be a case of waiting for the beta I believe.
Probably not but you can rent it (and all of EA's library) for a month with EA Play Pro. Could also set up a throwaway account and go with the cheaper EA play for a 10 hour trial.
