1. Paik left a message today, Thursday 28 September 2023. This is in response to completing the three steps that unlock the player cards, skin, and charm:
2. A "Phantom Revenant" tag was discovered and unlocked today. The instructions were given via Morse code from the final Orbital transmitter once the whole 3-part narrative hunt was completed.
- Dozer: Perform 30 CQB kills while defending a sector (some people say that you must trigger a "sector defended" kill, i.e. your team must control all objectives within a given sector).
- Falck: Revive 10 teammates in a single life.
- Boris: Destroy 10 vehicles with a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher.
- Casper: Perform 8 marksman kills (i.e. headshot kills from a distance of 200m or further).
- Casper: Perform 30 spot assists.
Note: with the exception of Falck's instruction, all progress will accrue across multiple matches (i.e. you don't have to complete any of the other specialist's instructions in a single match). The instructions can be completed in any order. And, you will not see any of your progress towards that tag, as the tag remains hidden until you complete all tasks.

Earlier today, the redacted "False Flags" entry was unredacted, and the entire map of Boreray Island was revealed to us.
Further, the CEO of Arkangel was revealed to be "Blackburn". It's speculated that this is the same Blackburn from BF3, Henry Blackburn, the main protagonist of the single player campaign.
Paik's last message was also left today on Discord (screenshot below). Paik mentions "The Hero of New York" - this moniker may be a reference to the Battlefield universe's history from BF3, in which Henry Blackburn prevented a nuclear bomb from detonating in NYC. Note that Paik's profile image is grayed out, and the Arkangel report that Blackburn has a "deceased spy". This appears to suggest that Paik is dead (?!), but it is only speculative (e.g. maybe it's only a staged death).

Moreover, some other interesting details is that not only does the same voice actor, Gideon Emery, play as Henry Blackburn in BF3 and as the US Commander in Portal for BF3 maps, but this US Commander is also in fact named "Blackburn" (see timestamped YouTube video below or here). If this is indeed Henry Blackburn, then at some point along the way it means that he was promoted from sergeant at the start of BF3, to an officer rank in the multiplayer events of BF3 Portal.
And, back in Season 2, when the story takes place in January of 2043, Blackburn may have been very vaguely hinted to us. In one of the images from the Season 2 site page under the heading "II. Crawford Profile", you can see that the person ID'd on the left has a status of "Possible Match for US Forces Senior Officer". That fits the description of a US Commander or an officer of a much higher rank, assuming that one continued to serve 30-35 years after the events of BF3.
We also know from the Arkangel Archives entry under "Down to Business" that the Dark Market is the "predecessor" organization to the Arkangel company. If Blackburn is the one in the image below, then that connects Blackburn to the Dark Market, and in turn, Arkangel.
When combining all of those details, they are consistent with BF3's Henry Blackburn returning to BF2042 to play a more major character role. If true, then Blackburn would be aged somewhere in his 60s by the year 2048.
