Battlefield 2042 Feedback
This is my opinion towards BF2042 since this is the closest I can get to reaching EA.
BF2042 is still fun to play but needs work just like any game released. I don’t know what the problem is wi...
i mean if you like it all the power to you but to just go and say you can not understand the problem is baffeling to me.
"the beta built was months old" flat out lie not a single problem from the beta was fixed for release and according to other info we got afterwords the BETA was at best a week or two old and orbital was at that time the only map that would actually run.
the game was at least 6 months behind anything that warrented a 60-120€/$ entry fee. by this time in its DLC-cycle BF4 already had 3 DLCs launched next to all their bug and performance fixes.
imagine buying a book and all you get is the cover and a letter stating "the rest will be added eventually, maybe who knows"....
like i said if you like it play it all you want, but 2042 under many different metrics is not a good game.
-player numbers in the bin
-not a single piece of content up to 9 months after launch
-subpar performance across the board
-lack of basic genre features
-complete removal of any community building whatsoever
just naming a few
I understand the problem. I just wanna know why they haven’t been releasing stuff sooner. My one co worker says the new content is coming in June. If that’s the case then that’s absurd. I’m relatively patient when it comes to games for example Cyberpunk. I still played the game when it was just straight trash and then they came out with a next gen version and updated the heck out of it and it’s a really fun game. That’s what I want with BF is for them to have big updates with major fixes. I just hope the new content makes players come back
@theeross13I am sure I will get a lot of flak for saying this but in my opinion, they would have released season 1 earlier than this summer but they wanted to try to appease the hate they were getting by implementing the legacy features like scoreboard and VOIP. I personally had/have fun with the way the game was/is when it launched. But I also wonder if they weren't ahead of schedule and were actually behind and they decided to go a different direction mid way through the game development and they didn't have anything at all to offer for season 1 and are stalling to work on season 1 content.
That could be a reason. I wonder if they have said anything about the delay. If not then we need to know what the heck is going on
