To me, BF2042 looks like a slightly futuristic BF4 with the usual “DICE gimmicks” added (weather, shootable grappling hook, on-the-fly changing of weapon attachments).
Weather looks like something which will get old real quick, like BFV’s Artillery bombardment + V-1 rocket.
- @VOLBANKER_PC All BF-games have things like this, it seems like Dice likes to put 'spectacular events' in their games, that often just ends up bringing bad/annoying game-play in the long run.
Otherwise, yeah this looks like BF4 on steroids.
But I personally think BF4 is the best active BF-game, even with all its flaws (and it has many)...
