Battlefield 2042 helicopter control assist can't be turned off completely

It seems I can't turn off helicopter control assist completely off. Even when disabled from settings my helicopter tries to balance itself. It's incredibly hard especially on controller when I have to pitch down continuously when shooting below. When not throttling the pitch works as it should but still the "flight assist" still affects rolling.

I'm not sure but I think this problem wasn't there when I played early 2022 when the game came out. Have tried to look everywhere how to disable it but haven't found anything helpful but it seems this started after june 2022 patch even though not mentioned in patch notes. 

As a veteran pilot with 20k littlebird kills on bf4 this really hurts. I would rather just fly around and roadkill people with decent mechanics than miss all my shots because of this kind of "flight assist".

If this is a way to nerf pilots there definitely is better ways to do so and if it's to help new pilots it should be disableable.
