@FwnakosGrn I have the same issue, but it's stuck at 20% for over 2 hours now. Anyone has a fix?
I discovered a work-around assuming you bought on steam.
1. reboot your computer
2. open origin
3. open steam
4. verify file integrity on steam
5. just as the verification finishes launch 2042 from origin
6. wait for steam to do initial setup
7. launch from origin again
This should force a 2:2600J error code while launching 2042. If it doesn't crash the game outright, you'll be redirected to the main menu.@BLJGEcakes Where have you found this workaround? Do you think this is reproducable on a origin only copy aswell?
- @xVSG_KennY I found this by brute forcing it myself. Unfortunately I do not know enough about origin to suggest a way to reproduce this glitch.
