On a 2600x 6-core 12-thread CPU the game is using only 8 threads at 100% usage with other 4 on idle.You cannot change/unlock or do anything with e.g. Process Lasso, it is hard-locked at 8 threads only. best shoesIt also hard-locks the bf.exe process priority to Normal only. This will likely include multi-core usage and performance.... however, it has been observed and addressed that Battlefield 2042 is process hungry.As for your fps, I did not experience any "hard-stuck" issues with the Beta and was able to modify some of the graphical settings to my liking.My recommendation at this point is to see how you are running when the game comes out and make a new thread if you are still experiencing issues.

So I went into the game and did the FPS overlay thingperfoverlay.enablefps 1To show the Frames of CPU and GPUMy GPU frames are very good. They are around 150. Yet the CPU frames drop down to 10. @OskooI_007 Setting Origin on high, just makes everything else including BF2042 to be bellow normal.
I am trying the -high command line argument

Cpu usage is maxed out on my i7 9700f, every core at 100% while my rtx 2080 ti is relaxing.

@iambabrazam Yes, I noticed this too when trying to change priority. Didn't know it was only using 8 threads though, that sucks and maybe has something to do with the terrible performance.

@R1ckyDaMan19 Yea I saw someone else saying that on the i7 9700 getting 100% usage. I figured he was crazy haha. I'd imagine you'll be right as rain after a patch or 2. I'm on an 8086k 6c/12t and not experiencing that issue. Your straight 8 core should be owning 2042 with being no where near 100%

I'm also having the same issue in the 120 player maps. i7-9700f is running 95%-100%. Rtx 2060 super is running 20% If that.
Low, ultra, auto, all settings mixed it doesn't matter.. I get 20-30fps in heavy gunfire and 40-70 in quiet areas. Huge stuttering.
The ONLY fix I've found (and I've been up all bloody night), is playing portal on smaller player counts or off-line against bots. I get 50-70 all around regardless of graphic settings this way. But CPU stills runs 100% while my 2060 super sleeps.
