Some of the problems I have recorded here on PS5 console:
1. Once again I have encountered with cheaters during the beta gameplay on PS5. I might have reported over ten cheaters throughout my experience with beta. Please ban anyone who is using cheat code.
2. Issue with sound engine. Not sure why I cannot able to hear footsteps clearly with my Pulse 3D headset on PS5.
3. Glitches and bugs are everywhere. For instance when I am aiming at my enemies I could sometime see them teleporting randomly across in one area.
4. Suppressor on sniper rifle should not create too loud firing noise once shot.
5. The mechanic of reviving teammates is nonsense. If you want to give defibrillator shock to your fallen teammate it should look more natural rather than just standing there and doing it in air and not actually touching to your fallen teammate. Or maybe just add health injector and make it look more natural way to inject someone on their knees or shoulders.
6. There were times I saw frame stuttering (ex helicopter part flying past) at maybe 20 fps.
7. The lag made ADS extremely frustrating no matter how I tweaked the sensitivity
These are some of the changes that are required ASAP before the game releases on Nov. 18th on all platforms. Otherwise this game is in no condition to be played at least on PS5 and maybe needed to delay until December 2021...Maybe...I hope not but from what it looks like it needs more time and investment especially if I am paying $70 for next gen version than it should definitely be worth $70 with excellent graphics and performance overall.

Hi @SolidCrusader89 ,
Access to the Beta section for BF2042 is unfortunately already closed for us, so we cannot see all the reported bugs we had there and also the related discussions on the very good points that you brought up here!
I was myself clocking most of my beta testing hours on PS5 like you and also observing very poor game experience in all areas actually of the game unfortunately. Interesting thing is though that I also tried it on a friend's PC rig, and here it was truly much much better, though not perfect either. But markedly better!
And this may explain why we not all reported the same thing back. Some were quite happy about the beta over all, while others were highly disappointed. Lets hope now that the EA Dev team can close most of the bugs we identified to them and also close the gap, so no matter what platform that we play the game on, that we all get the same great Battlefield sandbox experience!
Just quickly running through your bug-list here below, as think most were indeed covered in the Beta bug reporting we did:

Please ban anyone who is using cheat code.CD: Cheaters will always be a concern and EA also appear very serious to take actions on them for the F2042 game, so let's give it a chance to see how it goes when the full game launches. Personally I must admit that due to the very poor performance of the game on the PS5 console, then though many deaths were highly frustrating and some questionable, then due to the constant lagging and enemy soldier and enemy vehicle glitching from one position to the next on the map, then it was honestly impossible to judge if any script code cheating was involved. Ideally we would want to have access to soldier stats and first-person spectator mode in the full game, so we quickly can do the screen/evidence capture and report to EA.2. Issue with sound engine. Not sure why I cannot able to hear footsteps clearly with my Pulse 3D headset on PS5.CD: The BF soundscheme was obviously not polished at all for our beta testing. And some sounds were entirely totally missing. This was also bug reported by everybody across all platforms.3. Glitches and bugs are everywhere. For instance when I am aiming at my enemies I could sometime see them teleporting randomly across in one area.CD: Yes again a bug reported across all platforms. The teleportation though appeared to be most prevalent on the Consoles, as here it was more like a permanent fixture of the gameplay.4. Suppressor on sniper rifle should not create too loud firing noise once shot.CD: Yes also reported across all platforms, as it didn't appear to change anything on the sound no matter if running with a suppressor or not.5. The mechanic of reviving teammates is nonsense. If you want to give defibrillator shock to your fallen teammate it should look more natural rather than just standing there and doing it in air and not actually touching to your fallen teammate. Or maybe just add health injector and make it look more natural way to inject someone on their knees or shoulders.CD: This feature was also severely broken, as you also had to stand still there in the open for like a full minute to revive a friendly. Reported to be an issue across all platforms.6. There were times I saw frame stuttering (ex helicopter part flying past) at maybe 20 fps.CD: Again much related to point number 3 above, and again, most prevalent on the consoles. Severe stuttering and lag on all vehicles in the game. Both when you were looking at them from enemy side, and also when you looked at your own teammates or yourself in a vehicle.7. The lag made ADS extremely frustrating no matter how I tweaked the sensitivityCD: Think again related to the points 3 and 6 above. The game mechanics and fluidity was simply broken. Again, most prevalent on the consoles, as some well performing PC rigs had no or just rarely these observations...8. Though it is obviously unpopular, I think it might be a reasonable resolution especially for the longer term, because the EA Dev team can have a longer period of time right now all holed up to dig deep and fix more fundamental things before this game hits the street. Because when first released, then severe changes are becoming much more complicated to manage if having to release them through incremental improvements instead.

@SolidCrusader89 i merged your two Threads together as you made two pretty similar ones about the same topic. 🙌

Do you think most of these issues will be resolved by the release date?
