However, you should be able to pre-order the digital version from any of those listed retailers.

@goodguyflacko69You can get early access to the Beta with the Standard Edition, which would be available as a physical disc, however Early Access to the full game starts at Gold Edition, as you said.

@carsono311one last question for you. If they give us access to the disc Gold edition will it come with a special case or any hard ware? I might just order it digitally! Thank you for all the help

Best Buy (and maybe GameStop?) are offering a steel case with pre-orders of Battlefield 2042, but it is only the Standard Edition as mentioned earlier:

I can tell you that you are certainly not alone in wanting more. There have been several topics created in these forums asking for additional options that include a physical disc. I also find it odd that EA DICE have not offered a Collector's Edition of Battlefield 2042... but they might still surprise us.
