Battlefield 2042 Request

Important:

Put an actual authentic AK-47 in game like the Arsenal SAM-7SF and be able to switch multiple calibers, barrel lengths, etc. change the basic AK SAM-7SF to a Krinkov/AK-74U variant or a RPK. 

Please!, Please!, Please! Lets have both the SCAR-17 and SCAR-16 or the ability to do a caliber switch on the gun, with SCAR-17 chambered in 7.62x51/.308 running 20 round magazine and SCAR-16 chambered in 5.56x45/.223 running a 30 round magazine. 

Caliber changes, barrel lengths, and different variants of the same model of gun be made out of one rifle. Example - M4 (full auto) to M16 (3 round burst) to MK11 (single shot DMR)

Have 3 to 4 positions on some guns, Safe, Semi Auto, Burst, Full Auto. Example - HK guns such as the MP5 are known to have this option. 

Not that important:

Bring back a mix between Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4 gun range - test vehicles, customize gun, tests gear and guns.

    1) what is the difference between semi auto & burst fire (asking for a friend)

    2) Do I have to switch my gun to safety-mode when running beween objectives or is it ok I remove my finger from R1-button... I mean the trigger?

    3) Is bold-writing a little bit like caps lock or is it just writing in a slightly higher "tone" than normal type?

    Answering for a friend..

    A 3 shot burst is legally full-auto. Semi auto is ONLY one trigger pull per round fired. Any more than one round fired per pull is considered automatic and you must get a class 3 license to own one. Essentially a burst fires 3 rounds at once and semi fires one bullet at once.

    @bella3039 The new mod system in 2042 does some of what you're asking for though i think i varies by gun (via heavy/medium/light/AP ammo types, different barrel types/lengths and attachments), and aside from saying old BF games have usually had a few guns doing exactly what you ask for, no idea if they'll follow a similar pattern with 2042.
    But i don't see why they wouldn't when they've always had selective fire modes before, as well as some guns performing better in certain modes (AN-92's two-shot burst at 2200rpm comes to mind).

    We'll find out one way or another in the beta, but if portal does include guns from bf3/4 with the same handling they had in those games, then most of the features and guns you asked for are already in the game in some form or another.

    Yeah, in this case it seems to be Caps Lock-like. I would only recommend Bold typefont be used sparing and for emphasis...

    I tried to read the original post... but it seemed like much of what was being asked is already in-game or too nuanced to ever be in the game.

    Purely for a tiny bit of clarity about using bold etc or all caps, it's just a case of not overdoing things. A bit of bold text here and there isn't a big deal, like carsono311 said it's handy for emphasis, but nobody likes feeling like they're being shouted at* 🙂

    Edit: *At least they don't unless they listen to 'angry' music like I do lol.

    @bella3039 I hope the plus system allows for some ability to change parameters of a weapon around the original model but not make a high powered Sniper rifle into a SMG or vice versa.

    Most guns in BF4 had semi-auto mode. The 2+ round burst and LMG beltfed tended not to have.

    For me I see it like this if you have a LMG you can change, range, damage and ROF based on changing bullet type, calibre, barrel length or Mag size. Not turn a LMG into DMR or AR.
