@OSReaper So from a player that has T1 for the Wildcat, tracking Helis is easy, it's only ever difficult when they are already flying over top of you.
Jets can be difficult to deal with, unless they swoop you directly and you know which way they are coming from, then your AA turrets should melt them.
I don't want to post it..
But hands down the best Wildcat set-up is when you have a squad mate in the forward Gunner seat that you can talk too over voice coms.
My set-up for reaching T1 Wildcat..
Driver:
30mm AA turrets - Chopper Killer, Light Armoured Killer, Infantry Killer
Anti-Tank missiles - Great for putting pressure on tanks/Wildcats
Thermal Smoke Package
Repair.
Top gunner:
Heavy machine gun (Not really needed unless farming infantry)
Forward Gunner:
60mm Flak Pod.
(The flak pod absolutely decimates choppers and jets, but it does take time to learn the arch of the projectile)
Using this set-up I've featured in the end of round achievements multiple times with 10-20 vehicles destroyed and a lot of angry pilots.
