Yep. I'm going to give the mode a go still, but I don't remember especially enjoying Control and I'm worried that it'll be the same for Control Unlocked.
Then again, it might come down to simply not even having enough time to get the 80 ribbons required (unless I can manage to get 15 ribbons max per match, so I only need to play 6 matches).
I'm also a bit frustrated about the tenuous "earn them through ingame assignments at a later date". Just tell me the date so I can make an informed decision.
- @ElliotLH I fear they don’t know the date themselves yet. Instead they let it depend on when player numbers drop. They will use it as a last lever to crank up the player count.

It could also be that they're worried that a lot of the playerbase will just avoid the event entirely if the date for the challenges is known.
- @ElliotLH Good news: Ribbons to unlock XFAD-4 Draugr and DFR Strife can be earned in any official mode, so not event specific!
I tested it by playing normal games and the tracker towards 80 ribbons is progressing!🥳
