Battlefield 2042 Weekly Missions Why?

@KillAndKillMore These weekly missions are more intended to give us things to unlock until Season One begins. That's my understanding anyway.

BF2042 Weekly Missions are now in Pre-Season state, so Players can do something and Unlock some cosmetics before Season 1. 🙂

I think that Weekly Missions will remain in Season 1 but it will be a bit different because there will be Battle Pass and all Season 1 content will be Free for all Players.

@KillAndKillMore In a way some missions like that are hidden in BF2042. Like the underbarrel launcher 40mm HE kill requirements to unlock underbarrel smoke or incendiary shells, or the >150m kills on the assault rifles to unlock the M22 3.5x sights.

I don't remember time limited weekly missions to unlock anything else beside cosmetics in BFV.

But we lack something like BF4s assignments.

@KillAndKillMore which BF games gave weapons and stat boosts for a limited time event/offer? The last one that I played quite a bit of was BF4 (I barely touched BF1 + 5, so maybe there?)
