Battlefield 2042 which ?

I got friend on xbox one and on xbox series.

I dont want to buy the game twice to play with both of Them if i buy the 89.99$ i will be able to play with players on xbox one? And also players on xbox series?

    @Boondox27@MegatronNerdhas the right idea on this.

    All editions of the game include the "Cross-Gen Bundle". This will get you both the "old-gen" and "next-gen" versions of the game so that you can play either version whenever you choose. You will simply need to ensure they are both installed.

    So, if your friends are on XBox One and you want to play with them, you can fire up that version of the game and play. Then switch to the full, "next-gen" version if you want to play 128-player maps and such.

    Yeah i know for now im gonna play on xbox one when they are online but when they are offline i want to Play on 128 players server buying the game twice is $$$$_$ i would like to Buy it only once

    @Boondox27Hey no you don’t have to buy the game twice, you’ll be good to go w that version “ 89.99” series x/s digital version


    no need to buy 2 copies

    if you get the gold 89.99$ version yes you’ll be able to play w Xbox one and Xbox series x/s as it’ll come w both copies of the game,

    just gotta make sure you install both versions on your system

    I just fired up my PS5 and I can see that I have now both game versions tagged for automatic advanced download! 

    So a separate BF2042 game pack for the BF4 on the PS4 world with 64 players for console-only crossplay .  And another BF2042 game pack to be downloaded for the PS5 new-gen world with the 128 players full crossplay universe.

    I ordered the digital GOLD Edition to enable this feature for me.

    @Boondox27I have the gold version on Xbox series X which includes the series x and the version for xbox one.
    Get the gold version and you are covered for both systems.

    And you have the choice which one to download. You can do both. I did not I just did the series x for the record.
