@EA_Barry 2042 has the best directional audio of any shooter on the market. I can always pin point where the enemy is based on there foot steps. Whatever you're using make sure to use the same system in the next BF.
@HARLEMnycityI think the audio in 2042 is worse than BFV and seems more like BF1 (not BF4-levels of bad though).
Directional audio is not good and some sounds are "missing", especially sounds from behind are often not working at all (footsteps, vehicles).
The sounds of vehicles are weird, vehicles sound sound distant, even if they are right next to you.
But other shooters are perhaps even worse, I don't know, I only play multiplayer in BF-games.
