I think, this whole thing is a waste of time, the problems with the game itself and the maps included are big. But these issues are with the core of the game, the design decisions that have been made and I don't see them reverting such design decisions (specialists) or adding missing elements (destruction / levelution) no matter what feedback we give or have given.
The feedback you are asking for, I can't give that. I stopped playing 2 weeks after release, don't know the names of these maps or spawn points or objectives locations by heart as I never continued to play for a lenghty period of time, I don't know which spawnpoint or objective is bad or what the name of the map is you're talking about.
A lot of feedback has been given at release, it was ignored, now the game is beyond the point of saving and you say you're going to listen and now and ask for feedback.
The issues with these maps are clear as day. If the game was playtested in real player vs player situations, they would've easily surfaced, but I think all the devs did was just playtest solo matches vs bots on their own which make the problems less visible because the bots are just dumb and spread out just to anywhere without any real reason behind it.
On the tactical side, the maps are too open, for example if you look at open maps in BF1 and BF5, some examples:
- BF1 maps like Galicia had trenches, so you were able to hide/cover there. While this map was flat in design, it still had enough micro height variations to take cover.
- BF5 had flower fields, if you were running through a field and were getting shot at, you could easily lay down and hide in the yellow flower fields.
BF2042 is just flat and open, just grass, sand or concrete. no roadblocks, no trenches, no checkpoints, nothing. This all also adds to the maps being too clean and sterile, there's literally nothing on the streets. BF4 Shanghai and other city maps, were filled with litter, paper, burning cars, burning checkpoints, roadblocks, concrete checkpoints, all adding to the immersion.
Maps like ZAVOD311 and Alborz also had flat spaces, but there was always enough trees, micro heigh varations and other cover available, you wouldn't get sniped from across the maps on those.
BF3's Grand Bazar had great CQB and designated areas for vehicles like tanks. that would help greatly with getting run over by boltes and hovercrafts every minute.
BF4's bombed Rotterdam map had the same idea.
One other main topic you missed on your questions is the destruction. This has always been a core element in the battlefield games, and one of my main reasons to enjoy the game. It's completely gone now. You can't create new paths to walk by blowing up a wall of a building to get tactical advantage (there's often not even buildings to blow a hole in a wall now)
Therefore, a huge fun element is missing in this game, which just adds to the reasons of me stop playing this game. BF5 has great destruction, you see someone sniping from a building? you drop the roof on top of him, you can't get around a building, you blow a hole in the wall and get through it. you see someone running from your tank into a building, you drive through the wall to get him.
