Which maps presently provide a poor opening experience because of the location of the Base Spawn?
All of them, none are really that fun to play, if you are going to have 128 players on one server and nothing but open land between cap points and a few vehicles @ a time, thats a recipe for a bad time.
Right now you have it, vehicles are your cover for advance, it'll always be easier if pilots are good to end up having air superiority and from there that's the match.
In past battlefields on some maps, it was harder to get that because you had many buildings and different terrains many places you could encamp, its arsenal had a harder time blasting you and a whole squad in half.
How you deal with that now is by nerfing the helis and jets?
now people who had fun flying are bored cause it takes the 12 rockets to kill 2 people... standing next to each other... in the open ....
Soo you need to reverse that mentality on all the maps, COVER is king, if you are going to have tall city buildings allow ALL of them to be entered, so snipers can find SOME HIGHER GROUNDS, squads have to enter them to clear them out, battles dont just rage in open deserted lands they happen in cities, where a populous lives/lived and thats the real feel your missing
How do you feel about the current balance between Infantry and Vehicles in Breakthrough?
By the way what made and makes BREAKTHROUGH was the extra piece of equipment that the other team did not get, that holy mother *&#^ we are done if we don't work together to destroy it.. when you introduced it in bf1 now its not really BREAKTHROUGH

probably by far the worse out of all battlefields, the biggest maps the smallest amount of vehicles, maybe add more anti-air vehicles instead of spawning 1 for 4-6 enemy air?
Have you played 64 player Breakthrough, and do you feel that this is the better way to experience the mode?
Its smoother, it runs better, so thats a better experience, but gameplay is dull cause the maps are the same maps but different locations, which never address the original issues of the larger maps so gameplay is the same..
Do you have thoughts on how we can better define traveling paths between objectives to keep combat focused?
you should not do this, it's up to a squad/team to figure out the best point of attack on a cap point. if the defense knows the best travel paths the offense could use doesn't that defeat the offensive?
Do you see improvement opportunities to make it easier to understand how to get from one objective to the next?
I do, you should focus on comms on PC... a lot of PC players cant even communicate with their teammates that are cross-plat, or typing on a keyboard during combat is massively inconcenvient... Than after that, focus on auto-filling the co-op (bot_servers) with a full squad so hopefully, that will reduce server loads for you guys so 128 might play better, I would pause 128 for now and focus on 64s as well.
