First. Most of the people who quit playing this game. Including me and my friends. Will not come to this forum and give feedback. Most the people that are here do still play this game. And most of them will not help you get your player base back. Reading the posts I know that for a fact. This game is too different from what most of the people want from battlefield. Most people played battlefield because of of how different from other shooters it was. Namely COD. You will never gain the trust and following of the old battlefield community by making the game more like COD or really any other game. Just don't do it, stay as far away from other shooters as possible. Now to some real feedback from someone who can give you some real feedback about why we don't want to play battlefield anymore. So for starters. As I'm sure you're aware. Specialists are a big no from us. We don't want them. It's THAT simple. NO SPECIALISTS. Which I know you can't just take them out of the game but you can change the way they are seen in game. Like we can't relate to these characters. Which is why the nameless normal soldier is so popular because people can use their imagination to immerse themselves in their own way. I just cannot play as anyone but casper because his face is covered and doesnt look and sound like a *. They are too out of place and gimmicky. If you want to monetize everything about the game you can do it in a better way. Allow us to customize our character with different body pieces. Like head, chest, legs, etc. Then you can add some stupid mtx that way that isn't overpriced. With a lot of free things to be earned through gameplay so people won't feel bad about buying something.
Map design from the maps on the release is bad. Moving flag points won't help that much. It can in a slight way but don't over think it. The maps are bad, it just needs to be accepted. Add some constructable cover or small things in the game if it's possible for people to hide behind. Long range shooting isn't as much of an issue it's not being able to get away or hide. People who love sniping shouldn't be punished because the mid to close range people can't counter properly. If you change sniping more people will just get irritated and it'll be more fallout than you may think. It would be best to focus on making the new maps not in the game as good as possible and you probably need to add one for free even if it's gonna suck short term.
Some vehicles are too crazy right now. The bolte is honestly the only one that stands out. Like it's too fast and too strong. That's on you idk how to fix it but something about that vehicle needs changed. Also there needs to be vehicles that spawn on the map that people can't call in. Literally just copy the older battlefield games and make it so when a specific capture point gets taken a vehicle can spawn there and only there.
Classes are basically gone in this game. We don't like that. A small majority do and they are the ones you don't want to listen to if you want people to come back. They'll be fine with the game no matter what you do. But weapons and gadgets need to be locked. Not every single player should have access to a rocket launcher, health/ammo pack, mines, repair tool etc. (Flying and being in a tank sucks because most people cant survive for more than 5 minutes unless their camping on top of a building. Which calling vehicles in certain areas should be restricted. You can have flag points on buildings if they took out the vehicles that can be dropped on top.)That's not battlefield and needs to be changed NOW. That should be a top priority. When people see you are making changes to make them feel like you're going back to the class system they will feel better about playing. Even if it's not the full traditional class system.
There needs to be more weapons. For free. To give us more ways to play. You won't gain any good will if you add more. That aren't planned in a seasonal drop. That cost money.
Last thing I can think of at the moment is change the damn soundtrack. It hurts our ears. Anybody on SoundCloud can make a better soundtrack for super cheap.
