I wanted to get some feedback in here before this particular loop is closed.
I know this isn't the popular opinion, but I do like wasted space in these maps. Battlefield to me has always been about war in an area that wasn't necessarily designed for it all. This being said, I do think there are some considerations for more cover that could be added. Kaleidoscope specifically could just use more pathways in the court yards with walls next to them to have some built in cover. Hills, trees, and just any sort of line of sight breaks that fit into the space sounds like a good option.
Please please please don't group up the capture points. If you guys are going to stick with 128 player modes, everything needs to be spread out or else the intensity will not be resolved. Just add more transport units like quads and dirt bikes at spawn.
Maps will also play so much different if classes were the focus. I don't mind specialists that much. I see right through the decision for them in that mtx for operator skins in Warzone make tons of money, but we play Battlefield because it's never tried to become COD. Anyway, very few people play medics in this game. 32 vs 32 works for squad revives and medics aren't as much of an issue, but pretty consistently, the team with better medics win conquest and breakthrough modes. I would love to see a just class type limit moving forward to resolve some of these issues. 16 assault, 16 recon, 16 supportive, and 16 medic. It doesn't even have to be that rigid, but something along those general lines.
And just since these things are getting read. I think it's great to take feedback from the people still playing the game or that care about the series. I'm currently not playing as I'm awaiting VOIP because discord and Xbox game bar use too many resources to have to have open on top of the poor optimization of the game. Please increase squad sizes to 6. Do that before you change control points on maps. Squad spawns will change so much like that.
Last thing to say, I work in government contracted psychology job. I know cover your * speak better than most. Please be truly up front about struggles, why things aren't working, and let people know what you're going to do to make it up to them through an actual plan. No corpo "we hear you" speak. If you heard, believed, and truly desired to fix it, the response should be "we will look into this issue and get back to you with an answer by such and such a time." Even if it's, "thanks for finding this and it's taking more time than we thought. Here are the issues we've identified," that goes to show that actual work is being done, even if will take longer than expected. You all can't run on "trust us" or "just be patient" with the state of this game. We trusted and you failed. Work your * off to restore our trust and be truly transparent.
