Battlefield Platoons Return when?
Now that BF2042 has been out for few years and has made huge progress in making the game better. When will we get clans? They were one of the biggest boosters to the game besides rented live servers....

They are anti team play. No chance.

Platoons in this series would have benefited significantly from crossplay with no platform limitations. It also is not enough that platoons return to Battlefield, but an entire rank structure where players have to prove themselves on the battlefield before being given a leadership role needs to be implemented in this series. Squad leader and Commander, whenever it returns, should be roles that are earned through consistent performance during matches. Not something that every player can be by just showing up. This is one of the many reasons why the squad leader role in Battlefield has little importance to a large majority of the player base.
Also in reply to Up_Hawxxeyes' comment above about platoons being promoted as the definitive way to play Battlefield. I one thousand percent agree with you and only wish that the developers for this series were able to see how doing this would improve the overall Battlefield experience for everyone.
What? Dice are anti team play. They need the game as casual as possible as that is the player base.
