Its the same thing with HALO , Counterstrike etc..etc.. any franchise that has been around ...
But the worst thing about BF is that everyones who started playing X or Y BF think they are entittle to know " What is the true BF " lol and all of them are always dissatisfied by it ...
Hardcore BF2 PC fans said that BF2 moder combat was not a BF game and that BFBC was terrible and that BF3 was a COD game and so on and on .. Then BF3 players says the same about 2042 and so on .. BFV fanboys only swear by BFV mechanics and balistics and setting and so on and on ... I could be considered as a " Dinosaur " myself since i was a teen when 1942 launch and i played every BF and planetside games since ...
Yet i do not see 2042 as a bad game at all .. its certainly an improovement over the old tittle on so many aspect .. Yet the game still have issues i would like to see adress and i dislike the Corny one liners of the specialist .. I would have prefered to have " Specialist " to be a template more than a HERO but having 2 custumizable base skins for each category Like the grapling hook guy a russian version and a US version .. So the type remain reconizable but still different in US and RUssia . and the Remooval of corny one liner would be a + to me

@Stew360The other day I died to a Mackay who I had not realized that he was an enemy one, because they all look the same.
Btw I started with BF3, but I still look up to elements of the previous games like BC2 for destruction and the dart gun, BF2142 for the titan mode and BF2 for the proper commander mode (as an RTS fan).
I wanted to hope that BF2042 would also try more to incorporate each element that was good in its predecessors (instead of elements from different franchises ... ) in order to shine the brightest.
BF2042 might still become a better game if they learn to think like players

Well i have stand and dance around ennemys in Planetside 2 or Previous batlefield without getting shot sometimes for minutes lol then knifed them so there is that ..
But i dislike the specialist faces and cosmetics and corny lines but i like the backbone and the system itself wich is better than previous BF games .. I just dont like FIsh eye globulous man like Mckay or a silly looking Instagram trendy model as Sundance or a corny looking angel .. THey are all better when you dont see their faces .. Dozer having the best skins lol and boris in some capacity but still .. Corny lines we get tired of hearing and that are cringe worthy .. All those things are bad we need faceless soldiers i would much prefer that ..
I would also prefer Mckay to be changed as a template or " Flanker " and other names for other templates .. But i want tthe second gadjet to remain as is i want everything in the backbone to remain like this .. I just want cosmetics changes and remooval of the cringe .. Russian and US having different specialist .. Hazardzone having them all base on players preferences
