Battlefield Recruitment Thread

Hey Ken, thanks for reminding me that it's been several months since I replied here. 

Yes, I am actively searching for any and all TAW recruitment posts that I can find anywhere on the Interwebs so that I can respond and warn people about their toxic community. 

Ironic, I think, that an unbelievably immature, bullying and toxic community like TAW is advertising to other gamers as a community with zero toxicity. 

Folks, TAW's leadership is extremely toxic. 

They have a division called Vanguard. That doesn't have to do with any games. What they do is monitor and police the TAW members. They listen to your conversations and copy/paste your text chats in Discord to a secret document where they keep track of everything you say that they don't like. 

Kenisama likely isn't even aware of what is going on outside of his own BF-focused division, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here... 

...but what TAW's leaders are doing includes bullying/threatening members (including members that have been in TAW 5-10 years or longer), compiling what they call 'dossiers' which include any comment or idea that Vanguard perceives as being negative towards TAW, and sending demands to members to hand over Discord channels / groups that have existed outside of TAW for years. 

Our entire Overwatch Division left TAW not long after several other entire divisions left. Their membership is dwindling, and is down below 1,000 members TOTAL across ALL the games that they represent. Most groups have about 10-15 members for an entire game and just aren't very active. 

Those are just the facts. TAW has shrunk SIGNIFICANTLY since those more recent overall leaders of the community have taken over and instilled this toxic, pro-bullying, East German-style of 'leadership.' 

That's why so many people are leaving. 

One of our members was forced to respond and account for every so-called negative comment they ever made, while being threatened with discharge from the community. They literally went through a list of Discord chats and voice conversations that they were recording for MONTHS and made that member explain everything they said and why while being threatened. 

If that's not toxic and bullying behavior, I don't know what is. 

I am a 40+ year old dad. I have been gaming since I was about 10, and PC gaming since the days of Wolfenstein, Quake and Descent. I am not an immature person, and I don't cause drama. Our entire Overwatch community, which spanned North America and Europe, chose to leave TAW due to the toxic behavior and horrible community. 

Maybe Kenisama hasn't been exposed to all of this yet... I sure wasn't until the day it happened.

After almost five years in TAW, and being a leader in the Overwatch group, recruiting new members, welcoming them to our community, making sure they got matched up with similarly skilled players and a whole lot more, TAW's overall leadership turned their attention to our Overwatch group, and that's where it all fell apart. 

Regardless, the simple truth is, TAW is an extremely toxic community.

Anyone looking to play BF2042 or BF4, I am a former SEC8 member (BF4 vets in NA will likely remember our top-50 in the world server that ran for years) and now hang out with the NWBG folks, who are still active in BF4 even today. 

I have no reason to come here and lie to you. I simply want others to avoid the toxicity and bullying that I experienced in TAW when all I wanted was a community of folks to play games with. 

I hope you'll heed my warning and steer clear of TAW.

I enjoy helping people, and I think turning people away from TAW is meaningful and worth my time, so here I am.
