Battlefield World Tour for Portal now requires 4 PLAYERS to start? Why?

In the past, this restriction never existed and there was no reason for the restriction to exist. I am from a region that only plays exclusively Portal servers, and at peak times, there is just 1, 12...

I'm guessing it is a cost cutting measure to keep less server instances running.

@sk1lld That would make sense, if they bothered shutting down XP farm servers. Which they didn't do. I don't know if their stance changed since I last played.

As someone who has been playing since 2042's launch, this is yet another slap in the face. I paid the premium price, I shouldn't have to worry about server capacity etc. This is just anti-consumer plain and simple.

  I don't think you understand what I am saying. Each server that starts up in the cloud EA/DICE has to pay for, it looks like they no longer want to pay for servers with just one guy in it.

    As I mentioned in another thread, In my own experience, I enjoyed playing World Tour on many occasions when it was single player starts, and the servers actually filled up fairly quickly until the AI were all replaced.
    I realise with the dwindling player base it will take longer but I firmly believe all players must have access in all regions to play the game.
