Battlefield2042 and PS4 has no PC crossplay
Nice to know after the fact, only reason I bought it was to play with my PC buddys heh, now im in a 2 hour line up to refund it from the playstation Store.

You cannot play with PS4 friends on pc.

Though I do understand your disappointment to not being able to play BF2042 on your PS4 together with your PC friends, then in all honesty, then that type of CrossPlay was never promised to be possible in this game.
Only new-gen consoles are able to do this, and also the only thing which EA promised in their marketing of this game and listed in the specs for each license type they sell of it.
This is so bad. I bought this for me (PC) and my son (ps4). I did make a quick google and all it said i was crossplayeble not just pc to ps5.
Crossplay destroyed CoD, Crossplay Destroeyed Apex LEgends, do you really want to get BF destroyed by crossplay ?
It is quite a shame. I know they never intended letting PC players play the 64 player versions and so never bothered with crossplay with older gen consoles but it would be a nice feature to add for PC, Last gen and current gen consoles.
