I've been having bf2142 nostalgia. It's a strong feeling.
Idk why you won't even think about a 2142 remake, just update the graphics, leave everything else.
But yeah 2142 maps were great. They were all great. One that stood out was the Belgrade map IMHO.
What are the odds, given the similarty in name 2142 2042 to see some of the maps or even a 2142 game mode in 2042?

As long as they bring back "Titan Mode" I don't care what map it is. 🙂
I'd be happy to just have More Maps. In fact, ANY Maps would be great. This game is Sooooooooo boring because of the lack of them.
In fact, most of the maps feel and definately look the same.
I didn’t play 2142 much and don’t recall a lag issue, is it worse than this one? Since they can’t fix this one I’m doubtful they’d pull it off.

I had a mid-tier PC back then and I didn't notice an excessive amount of lag when I played it, maybe some people did I'm not sure.
I know I sunk a helluva lot of time into BF2 and BF2142 back then though, probably too much 🙂
They usually locked the titans or play on smaller player servers where the titans could move. Suez Canal and Camp Gibraltar are two favorites I remember playing a lot of. I'd like to see them bring a version of metro also.
Agree. They need to create more urban maps. I really liked BF2142 those days
