Given the game's focus on vehicles and how many different aerial vehicles there will be, is HOTAS gonna be supported?
I purchased the Thrustmaster HOTAS One flight stick for the Xbox Series X so that I could fly aircraft in Battlefield 2042. My first question is, do you think the HOTAS One will be compatible with BF 2042 when the the full release of the game is available in November, 2021? I attempted to use it on Battlefield 4 just to see if it worked and it did not.
My fallback work around for this situation was that I expected to be able to button map the Thrustmaster HOTAS One stick settings through the Xbox Series X Settings to mirror the standard Xbox Series X controller however, the HOTAS One does not show up as a controller in device / controller settings through the Xbox Series X itself so I don't think that will be an option. Would one of the developers kindly weigh in here please?
