BF 2042 Storyline?

I stumbled accross this pretty cool Shortmovie Exodus

and I was wondering if there is some kind of storyline to BF 2042?

I think it's sad, that Bf 2042 had no singleplayer campaign like BF 4, BF 1 and BF V had.

That added a lot to connect 'emotionally' to the maps and the world we play in.

Now I was wondering, if there is some kind of storyline behind BF 2042. If yes, how can I learn about it?

Is there some biographies about the sepcialists, more movies etc besides the short season trailers?

Can it be accessed via the game or can it only be googled?

@SharpGoblin A fair bit of the narrative is outside of the game, but you can find bits in game through the player card descriptions and match intros etc. If it helps, the link below could be a starting point for you.

@SharpGoblin I’ve never seen that Belford, thanks for the share. They’ve done a poor job of creating investment in the story or game, I won’t get into the execution of it either, it’s late lol. Cheers.
