I personally have not tried to run the game on a potato sense like battlefield 3. I guess your excluding the 124 player count?

- tyl04134 years agoSeasoned VeteranSadly it probably won't, DX12 only so not without third party stuff and if you are gonna be using DXVK might as well just use Linux where they'll might enable support officially and it'll be much easier to get running bc Steam applies all the compatibility fixes in the background for you.

I think that @Bongybo understands this perfectly well.
But it is not everybody who is so fortunate to have whatever money is needed to buy the latest and greatest gaming spec PC available. So certain and very understandable that many players first will try to see if their old PC will still suffice to be able to join the beta fun next week with the rest of us. All while they still have enough money to feed themselves and their kids, pay the rent and the bus ticket to get to school or the job, etc...
The fact you have to explain it to these people terrifies me.. but then again maybe most of the people here are actully children for all we know xD
