BF2042 -XP Levolution

Everyone asked for more Levolution in BF2042 and we now have it. The only problem is, it's the Levolution of our in-game XP, stats, and Season 1 points.


I started the day off with 144,445 XP needed for rank S164 and ended with 159,500 XP needed for rank S164. Yes, you read that correctly and no, it was not a typo. 3.5 hours of BF2042 gameplay on an Official Portal server ended with an XP (LOSS) of 15,055 points. Everything was caught on video with all the network windows open. I condensed the 3.5 hours of gameplay down to 8.5 minutes. The bug report has already been submitted.

I’m posting the video here for insightful comments on the errors shown and community suggestions for the DEVs regarding these errors going forward. Yes, it’s all FUBARed but hopefully this helps to get it corrected and back on track. Please keep the negative and nonconstructive comments out of this thread as I would actually like to see this game progress and become playable for everyone.

    @SeriousJuJu It keeps telling me that I’ve been promoted but don’t seem to be going anywhere. Then, something must have caught up with me because I went from season 1 lvl 85 to 90 when I logged back in after five days.

    @SeriousJuJu The math seems totally messed up. How can you get 60k in a round with three ribbons being 2000 each, another ribbon with 1000, and the scores so low. The round actions at 1145 is super weird for the number of ribbons you had, and all the pints combined (minus the glitchy 10k) wouldn’t equal 60k. The whole thing seems screwed up. That’s quite the bug find! Nice editing and work on the video too.

    My post disappeared, that was weird. If you look at your actual round totals and what the game is giving you, they are all off until the last one. Also, the 10K is bugged and not being awarded at all even though it shows it multiple times.

    Looks like you only earned about 140K for all those matches, so you should be about 4K away from S164. Those round totals were bugged as hell, over 90K in one round, lol.

    Hi @ATFGunr, portal servers are persistent, in the end of round screens it will show accumulated experience and unlocks you got combined from all the rounds you played instead of that round. Its bug.

    @EA_Atic Man...it feels like the end-of-round XP screen is held together with duct tape and some chewing gum given that there always seems to be some bug going on with it, or multiple at once like now : /

    @EA_Atic  but that was not the case. Something else was also going on because when all was said and done and I viewed my points needed for my next rank up I had lost 15k of points from of my starting total needed for rank S164. I LOST POINTS FOR PLAYING. Lots of my kills and assists were not being added to my count on the scoreboard. I would get a kill in game, watch them drop right in front of me and get zero notifications and nothing added to the scoreboard. I was also seeing lots of players being identified by generic player ID’s like “Player 50” in the damage tick box instead of it displaying in game names with no way to tell who was doing the damage.
