@SublimnalKiD Man people keep quoting this, i really wish they'd get it right ....PORTAL is the love letter to fans, an extra mode featuring older maps classes and weapons.

Just putting it out there... Someone at Ripple picked up on that and used it for Portal mode later too... So he got it right.Probably a misinterpreted statement....that was in reference to bf6 going back to bf3 roots, which the guy was vague about...nothing in 2042 is like bf3...EXCEPT in portal.

BFV -> BF6 (2042) = love letter to those who adore the franchise. Probably because back then, they were intending on an actual BF game untill someone said "lets add specialists and sell skins, also lets make it a battle royale game"...
That I can get behind but still... our love letter was a mailbox of flaming poop. Just sayin'
Regardless which part of the game is supposed to be the love letter, they still left out major components that make battlefield, Battlefield. It's a joke
haven't really felt any love from the devs in this game so far, maybe its just buried by all the bugs, issues,glitches and missing features.....
well i am unsure if i will keep digging to find it much longer, in fact i am reinstalling every BF game since BF4 now just to keep me somewhat engaged with the franchise....
@Matty101yttamit was supposed to be the custom Portal and the one thing I was really looking forward to, but they ruined it with the xp and prog restrictions. Hardly anyone plays it now because of this.
