Just putting it out there... Someone at Ripple picked up on that and used it for Portal mode later too... So he got it right.

Probably a misinterpreted statement....that was in reference to bf6 going back to bf3 roots, which the guy was vague about...nothing in 2042 is like bf3...EXCEPT in portal.

BFV -> BF6 (2042) = love letter to those who adore the franchise. Probably because back then, they were intending on an actual BF game untill someone said "lets add specialists and sell skins, also lets make it a battle royale game"...
That I can get behind but still... our love letter was a mailbox of flaming poop. Just sayin'
