First off, I personally agree with DICE that drum and extended mags needed to have some sort of downside compared to their smaller counterparts. However, I don't think chunking the ADS speed across the board was the right way to go about it. For example. the MP9 taking almost as long as an LMG to aim down sights when using larger mags just feels clunky and unintuitive. Perhaps slower handling could work if it was refined to preserve the individual feeling of each weapon rather than a global sluggish handling speed, but as it stands right now the larger mags just feel awkward to use. I personally think having a greater penalty to reload speed could be an alternative downside for drums, but that is just my opinion.
What are your thoughts on this change, and what do you think could be done to balance larger mags with their smaller counterparts?
