BF2042 BattleHub - Are we off to a good start of retro-maps picked by EA?
Sr EA Developers met at EA Play Live and shared their session with us. DICE LA/now named Ripple Effect Studios lead by Vince Zampella and Christian Grass GM of this studio confirmed that we will get a Battlefield Hub featuring classic maps from past BF titles. And that we could expect to see this presented live at EA Play Live session on the 22nd this month. They referred to this as BF2042 Redacted, and we can now signup for further notifications on this here:

So the BattleHub is the place to go in BF2042 for experiencing the remastering of classic maps now powered by the modern BF2042 game engine. Expected also to be with the past vehicles and weapons in those map settings. Tom Henderson shortly after leaked these maps to be part of the launch pack:
So all looking to be maps picked from past BF games that all had modern gameplay/weapon choices.
They also hinted that the maps would retain their past layout/sizes and max number of players.
Are we off to a good start with EA this time around?

@CyberDymeI bet you anything they probably dug through replies for years and are giving the maps with the most mentions in that's my guessHahaha yes @PacNbowls ,
But that sounds almost to be too rational a way of doing things for EA to do just that for prioritizing what maps their veterans want back in BF2042? 😁
