BF2042 dead?

Come back to it after a long time away. Games are horribly unbalanced, it looks ugly, no hard-core mode, only 6 available portal servers, sent to empty games with crossplay off, epic load times.... w...

    OK, thanks for confirming! 

    Downloading BF1 and 5 again, they were good, just hope they're not empty. May be living in the past, but apparently the future sucks.

What region do you play? I'm on the west coast of USA and can always find a game. The numbers aren't what they used to be, and we suffer from a lack of server browser but hey.

In UK and on PS4. 

To be fair it was always pretty garbage but stuck with it way back when coz dunno! 

If it wasn't for portal it would have been a total bust. 

Anyhoo, would be good to try BF1 and V again, they were brilliant, will soon see if there are still any players left.

    @ChannonJ FWIW if you're on PS4 I see no reason to disable crossplay. I know that some current-gen console players (PS5/XSX) don't want to play against PC players when they have KB/M, but on PS4 all you can play against is people on PS4 and XB1 so no worry there.

    That said, enjoy your time in BF1 and V.

      You'll find more players playing BFV so enjoy the time off from this game.
