It is my region because the BF2042 population is probably 3-4 full servers if that (estimate). But the issue is that of those there is no action on the few cheaters there are. I am not saying it is rife but I am saying that through inaction, these 1-2 confirmed cheaters face no consequences and play solo infantry running up scores like 90 - 4, REGULARLY. These same people are regularly encountered daily and people are literally typing in chat to report them EVERYDAY. There must be 1000s of reports on 1 player alone and there has been zero action.- 3 years ago
any one else noticed if you log into your account @ https://help.ea.com/au/ and click 'contact us' then 'view all cases' all the in game reports are closed as soon as you raise them

Some cheaters get banned and create a new account using the exact same name to give the illusion that they're never banned.
A DICE community manager also confirmed that video recordings of cheaters isn't considered evidence and no bans are issued based on video recordings. I guess DICE is afraid people might create 'deep fake' videos of people supposedly cheating in order to get them falsely banned.
The only way to enjoy games without cheaters is to buy a Ps5 and disable crossplay. That's what streamers like Maxiq do to avoid cheaters. If you watch his videos, there's only Ps5 players in the 2042 servers he plays on. https://m.youtube.com/@Maxiq/videos
BrokenMachine is another streamer who only plays on Ps5 with crossplay disabled. It really is the only way to enjoy competitive online games without cheaters. Xbox isn't an option due it's always on crossplay settings.
I play Battlefield 1 on PC and there's been a huge uptick in cheaters recently. Over 50% of servers have cheaters in them. I report them left, right, and center but there's just too many of them and it's impossible for EA's Police Department to keep up with all the reports being filed.
