No, this game does not have a system controlled and predefined Hardcore Mode as we know it from previous battlefield games.

E.g. where game parameters like these are pre-set to a standard for Hardcore gaming:

• Limited HUD on health, ammo and grenade count status
• No 3rd person view in vehicles
• No hitmarkers
• No 3d spotting
• No mini map
•  
• 60% health level and no regeneration
• Limited motion sensors
• No vehicle health auto regenerate
• Team killing/friendly fire is enabled

EA/DICE have not supplied a fully fledged server browser, so no way for us to choose which server we want to join, as all is same vanilla standard server modes and we are thrown into a map not of our own choosing through the much criticized Match Making function we have in the BF2042 game...

User defined servers are available in the Portal area of the game, where each user can define their many of their own preferred game mechanics and rules.  But there are no standard to ensure the modes are the same across these servers.
