It's never really been about the rage hackers. Everyone knows who they are. It's the moderately and even highly-skilled players that carefully cheat to get an edge.
It's getting rough. I'm pretty confident EA's AC teams know who many of them are. Not all cheat providers are careful and EAAC has hooks into everything. But it isn't in EA's financial interest to be proactive. Instead they wait for report thresholds and flag it.
Time for a banwave EA. Even if it means the cheat providers send the botnets after you for a few days and you have to eat the increased cost with your ddos mitigation provider.
This is the same vicious cycle that all the previous titles go through. As it nears sunset, the playerbase gradually gets more infested, many clean players slowly leave out of frustration and then ultimately EA nearly abandons anti-cheat efforts on the title and then a new one is released.

I play the game 5 days a week since its release. In all that time, I have seen maybe 5 hackers + some suspicious players, but to be honest, none of them are as horrible as no-life heli pilots with 80-0 KD.
I play in Europe, if that is important.
BF 2042 has many problems, but hackers is definitely not one of them.

Sorry you feel you got to go, yes there are cheaters people that seem to know where everyone is and no it's not because of being spotted all the time. That said I play north America west coast and don't run into them all the time.
They are ruining FPS's.
