@DPsx7I disagree, the game was trash and it has improved a lot.
But the improvements have not made the game good, it has so many frustrating issues and is still one of the worst BF-games ever made (probably the worst).
For me the spawning, the "netcode", the sound, vehicle/infantry balance, unskippable EOR-screens, dumbed down gunplay, missing squad-tools (etc etc) needs fixing for the game to be even remotely good.
@DPsx7I'm not fan of the specialists or the way they have implemented classes, on top of the specialists.
But the problem with the game is that it is frustrating to play, partly because of the reasons I mentioned (the list is much longer).
BF has lost the fun element and it has gone downhill since BF4.
Even though BF4 was frustrating, the amount of fun made up for that. Now we have almost only frustrations left with very little fun gameplay.
The specialist issue adds to the frustrations (even more variables Dice cannot balance right), but the overall "quality-of-life" in the game is just bad.
I have also put many hours into 2042, even though the game sucks. That is more or less because it still is some kind of a BF-game and you cannot really find that kind of gameplay anywhere in other games.

Agreed. Have seen a degradation of the net code and constantly get shot through walls and shields or have someone survive with no damage after multiple hit markers to either the head or body. Cheating is also on the rise with a guy shooting rockets from a dm7 in one of my games and a guy floating 50 ft above the map shooting down at people. Still no server browser even though it's been on these forums for over a year and is one of the most commented on discussions. The devs like to make a habit of saying they'll address these issues or are addressing them, and then not doing anything at all except release more cosmetics to take peoples' money.
