Depending on who you ask , no sliding is a good thing.
Any surface other than ice or a soapy wet and glossy floor, do not offer the ability to slide for more than few centimeters

@UP_Hawxxeye I'm firmly in the camp of no sliding. Not only is it a ridiculous concept for a soldier in combat it is always highly abusable. I've never seen the addition of sliding to be a positive thing in any established game franchise. Unfortunately I saw a reddit post from a dev where it indicates sliding may be in 2042. :-(
- carsono3115 years agoSeasoned Ace@ragnarok013 Yeah, I think there is an image of another player sliding in the gameplay reveal somewhere... but I could be mistaken. Oh well.
- 5 years ago@carsono311 Thinking about it running round in circles sliding failed, knowing DICE they’ll double down on that and add more aerobatics in 2042. I think there were players climbing in the trailer too.
