BF2042 Season 1 delayed until Summer

this game should have been delayed until october 2022. i'm enjoying it but i paid for the year one pass (lesson learned) up front. by the time i get it this * will be on ea play or whatever they call their game pass
@PsubondDelay the whole game a year, good. Delay the season pass 6 months bad?
Whilst I am not pleased with this news as well, it seems that they are doing what the 'community' wants and concentrating on 'fixing the game' before further release.
How many threads/posts have there been saying "the game should have been delayed"?
How much they actually 'fix' remains to be seen.
The game may go on stand by for a while....- I can't enter the game, it freezes after 1 minute. will i not be able to play games until summer?

I mean after the 60 you should have reported it don't you think?

- @Trokey66 the problem is this game is currently beign handled like a early access steam game by a small indie dev working in his spare time....
this is arguebly one of the biggest publisher and a studio with over 700 employees in DICE alone. not even emntioning Ripple-Effect, Criterion, EA Gothenburg....
On top of all that this statement is literally a hash-back of the promises DICE made after Chapter 4 in BFV... i couldn't care less for the season delay heck i would've waited another year if needed but now the house is on fire and they literally sat there for the better part of 2 months now doing next to nothing but blame people telling them its on fire...

The game go on stand by for a while....yes. release it when it's ready not release a partial game for early access. they way they did it is hurting the game because it is half baked and the people that would have stuck with it get bored and it will be hard to get them back. they should have called the beta an alpha and then delayed the game and had multiple betas through 2022 until a finished project is done and released october 2022
look at what they did with Halo. it wasn't ready so they didn't launch it even though the new system was launcing. Nintendo does this as well. they delay games until they are ready they aren't married to a release schedule
but *yay* a skin for a player i don't use, a handgun gun i don't use a knife for broken takedowns, a skin that i won't replace a T1 skin for and a skin for a vehicle i don't use.
to EA: don't p*** on me and tell me it's raining
