I am glad that someone brought this issue back on discussion.
As much as I personally loathed the troglodytes who say EZ at the end of the round (but they still do, they are just on team chat now), I absolutely feel that the loss of the ALL chat is a net loss for the feel of the game.
There is a certain charm in being able to have some banter with the other team.
If someone is being annoying we can always mute them like we can mute certain teammates already.
Sure, people can be upset that they died and may call someone a hax but this is normal in videogames and does not need "correcting". If someone cannot stand chat, they can turn it off permanently on their client.
Here is an idea, let there be ALL chat but make it an option that is OFF by default and let any of us who want to turn it on to consent that we can deal with whatever someone says in there. Like grown-ups
But I despair that EA DICE will not listen because there is not enough pressure applied on them on that issue...

At worst, they should enable All Chat before and after the round ends. Otherwise, enable it but make Team Chat the default.
Yes "All chat" should be an option of course it should've been in the game from the get-go.
I would like to be able to talk to the other team to "LOL" about some dumb stuff or just to tell someone "Nice shot"
Of course, you'll have the occasional trolls it is the internet after all, but I can take the heat, as other have said just have an option to disable it if it's too much for some. But don't remove it for everyone else.
After seeing the world melt down over EA's G-rated "They're a 10..." joke I never expect to see All Chat again. We are to blame.
