BF2042 Youtube Rant!
I saw a Twitch link on here on AngryJoe's BF 2042 rant. Here is the full YouTube video which is far more concise.

He speaks for the vast majority of us, D...
I was watching GetGoodGuys stream and it was absolutely horrible. Most people say "oh, don't listen to the YouTubers", blah, blah, blah. But this happened right before my eyes. He was playing on Portal and:
1. Couldn't ADS with one of his weapons. Switching between secondary and back to primary didn't work. He had to die twice i think before it was fixed.
2. Got stuck in death animation
3. Movement was laggy as hell.
4. Hit registration was beyond awful. He would be pouring bullets into some enemies and they just wouldn't die. The only weapon that was decent was the PP-29
You'd think he was maybe just a bad player. But then he gets into a game of TDM and goes like 17-2. He was just beyond frustrated.
The servers are just beyond awful and it clearly shows that this game was NOT ready. But EA had to get this out to meet their quarterly earnings quota I imagine.
They were also lamenting how the base game with its wide open maps in areas with 128 players just doesn't work. I find watching most of the streamers play to be pretty boring on these maps as well. Just a real lack of flow to the game. And I doubt it will get any better with the masses joining in on Friday.
Then while making some dinner I watched MattiAce cut his stream short because of how frustrating and boring he said the game was.
I don't make my purchases solely on what YouTubers present but I've played about 1/2 of my 10 hr trial and its not great. I had no interest in using up my 10 hours all at once. It was an hour or so each time and was fine logging off. I'll use it when the full access launch happens and see how the game plays then. But its clear that this is not the type of Battlefield that players were anticipating or hoping for after 3 years of development and having devs being pulled off of other projects.
