What you desire has had the same relative outcome without the game feeling like you're in a 8000% damage lobby. TTK is already too fast for the servers to cope.
Totally needed the VHX-D3 was just too powerful.
Because of the 2.15x HSM and lowest spread of all classes, all ARs are much better than other weapon classes especially VS SMGs in their own niche,
Because DICE or the Weapons design team consistently ignores this issue, any new AR will be very powerful because of that.
This already happened with the SFAR, RM68 and VHX so it's only a matter of time a new AR will be king.
