Big Suggestion regarding current anti-vehicle ordinance and future.

Let me start by saying I have played several of the other titles, including bf3, bf4, and others. I’ve seen how good vehicles drivers and pilots can do well, and what is simply OP.

There are 2 parts to this post, please read both before you pass judgement as balancing is key here:

Nerfs:

-Reduce the handheld AA distance to 150-200 m, instead of 400m that it is currently.

-use of SOFLAM can increase handheld AA to 300m

-reduce Wildcat AA missile range to 200m, up to 350m for a SOFLAM target.

-reduce projectile speed of Recoiless M5 launcher

-report tool cannot be used on helicopters flying at high speeds. Hovering or grounded is fine, but choppers are unkillable with full repair teams and able to move evasively at the same time

Buffs:

-add emplaced weapons that can be called in and leveled/customized like vehicles, this includes minigun turrets, 40 mm GL, 20mm for AA, 30 mm, 50mm, Tow missile, etc they can also get recon pulse, armor upgrades, etc. Controlled in a small room directly under gun.

-LATV4 recon, add an armor upgrade that covers windows and adds some blast protection to occupants.

-TANKS and Bolte, add an extra slot to customization labeled “armor package”, only one can be selected, but available options would be frontal, tracks, rear, sides, turret. This would increase the hp of these parts making them harder to disable, higher damage resist, and able to block AP bullets.

-transport helicopters, allow more options in gunner pods. Currently only a minigun is available. Possible additions could be dual mini guns, double the heat rate, but also fires 2 bullets at the same time. Or perhaps 20mm upgrades.

-all aircraft get access to ECM jammers

-new gadget for infantry- Recoiless M5 FLAK, fires just like it AT counterpart, but cannot lock on,, if the shell gets near (15m or so) of an enemy vehicle, it detonates into a cluster cloud of flak. Doing high damage to infantry and good damage to aircraft and light vehicles.

-new gadget for infantry, 60mm mortar. Must be used manually, like the mortar in Bf3. Holds 5 shells, you can adjust the ammo type between Anti- personnel, ANti-tank, bunker buster to penetrate through roof tops but has smaller blast radius, incendiary, and smoke.

-last but not least, SOFLAM additional function. If the “fire” button is held, it lets you manually paint targets. A lock on will appear where you point. A different indicator should be present to show it’s a manual lock. This essentially acts similar to a tow missile. It doesn’t warn vehicles if it is a manual target designation. In addition it can be used to target other things besides vehicles. Sniper and machine gun nests, explosive terrain, destructible walls people are hiding behind, etc.
