I'm going to throw the conversation in a different direction. With 128 player lobbies, 8 player squads should become the new standard. Means you can break a team up into 8 squads. If you wanted to take things a step further, you could add platoons so that you could break down a team into two platoons, each having 4 squads, making a platoon have 32 players. Squad Leaders could then communicate on their own channel separate from their squad, and the Platoon Leader could mark objectives to focus on; maybe even have color coordinated markers so they could direct squads to different targets.
This kind of system got used in MAG, a game on PS3 which managed to have 64,128, and 256 player lobbies. It's about time we caught up to a game that launched 11 years ago 2 generations back.
