We the united community of Battlefield enthusiast wants demands 5-man squads implemented in the upcoming BF2042 or at least the option to link two squads into a 8-man squad!
I dont get the premise as to 64-man teams can be only divided by 4 and we dont want to leave players outside of squads or not able to squad up.
The game promotes choices, sandbox-playstyle and huge intense battles.
Why have we to be restricted to tiny 4-man squads which leaves clan-mates out?

So as I said, I hate seeing that constantly happening. The problem is, it keeps happening. Having 64-Players Per Side is only going to make this a whole lot worse.
I get it, 4-Man Fire Team. However, That makes a Squad, a small Squad. As Commander Mode, we want to order Platoons, Companies and so on.
So, looking into the main chunk of it. A Team can be 2 Units, but it can contain 3. A Squad contains 2 Teams, but can contain up to 6 Teams (uncommon). The idea is that two Teams are lead by a Squadron Leader or Staff Sargent.
Now, I'm bar far not an Expert. That said, I know that a 4-Man Squad is actually slightly more uncommon than a Squad with more units.
Ideally, for Snipers, they run in Teams, but generally have 3 Teams in the Squad for general purpose. This means 6 Men, not 5, and not 4. A Sniper Team is comprised of a Sniper and a Spotter. A Sniper Squad generally has a Medic with a Close Quarters Weapons, and a Sargent who is accompanied by a Spotter.
Now I know this is only 64-Players a Side, so there wouldn't be room for multiple Companies of Units on the same Team. However, you should allow larger Squads to form or have a Platoon Section. This will at least make it easier and less stressful for us who play Commander Mode.
I don't want the A-Z of Squads, and with 2-Man Squads, you'll run out of Letters. With 4-Man Squads, you'll be left with nothing but A through P worth of Squads. By the way, this doesn't look right on Low-Resolution Screens with this many Squads.
A Real Squad has a Maximum limit of 12 Men/Women before it's classed as a Platoon.
