I think that too many people play BF now thinking that it’s a solo Player on Player game, and to be honest I’ve always considered BF to be more of a strategic shooter, than death match shooter.
as such, for me the turret should be formidable, I should be able to lock down an avenue of approach with it. And it should be difficult to deal with. requiring a rock paper scissor type solution to deal with. I.e it could be hacked, or approached with a shield, or perhaps it’s field of view could be limited.
of course everyone wants to be able to solo BF now so of course it gets nerfed. Anything that takes more than looking at to kill is too much for a lot of players apparently.
BF has become so dull to play.
Don't put a trophy in the game for getting 2500 damage in a round with the turret and then nerf its ability to do damage shortly after the game is released.
I forget though that developer support for this series is all about catering to the whiners. That is why we can't have 128 player breakthrough or a Boris turret that actually does what it is supposed to do.
If your going to have a turret in a game, it should be like the turrets from Aliens.
