Bots need to be able to use all vehicles and equipment for better game offline

Lets talk about bots

Many games now have bots, but the base bots are the ones that can play the game like a human can. Bots can't drive or use all vehicles offline or from portals. Bots should be able to man all planes and choppers from all eras, and their skill level by the way, should show how good they are at doing so. Next is loadout, bots only have default loadouts and there is no way to customize their loadout. If i bot is going to replace the missing player, why not make them full like a player to where you can change their loadouts in the middle of a battle as well.

Bots need to be reworked big time, even ravenfield as better bots then you guys at this point. A bot should be able to use the secondary on all vehicles and do anything a player can do if they're going to replace missing players.

Having a better bot that can do more can help more players train for real matches, and it makes the battlefield feel more alive.

  • @Deathgamer98777 I checked this out on Portal (created a Flashback Conquest experience + bots).
Bots can and do use all vehicles. From my observation, they are also very accurate if you are visible. They do seem limited to primary weapons, and they don't seem to use zip lines or squirrel suit.
However, I did see a group of bots shot down a Nightbird with primary weapons - have never seen that before.
In addition, they are extremely accurate, and seem to have a very strong aimbot ability.
  • An AI rework is a major time consumption, and there's none of that spare currently.

It's also quite a low priority, the purpose is to replace a bot with a human, not replace a human with a bot.

Yes, they could do things better - but mostly, I'd prefer just to tone down their awareness (being a flanker, it's stupid how they instantly detect me from behind, 100m+ away).
A second easy benefit would be increasing their movement speed. Sprint and move intentionally to objectives; they just walk around.

Those changes might be easy (% chance not to detect; sprint when x dist from objective), but I doubt EA will change much, or anything about AI currently.
