I don't think the patch is removing 128 players. I think its just 128 Breakthrough specifically.
@Hezek1yah Yes, I bought 2042 primarily to play 128p breakthrough, I don't enjoy conquest very much. 128p conquest is still there, but I have no interest in playing a running simulator and prefer the breakthrough gameplay.
